Insurance cover revisited

The Management Committee of CPAGA has reviewed CPAGA's insurance needs, costs and options - and changed supplier.

The cover for public liability (that is, successful legal claims against CPAGA itself for compensation for accidental injury to a person or damage to property) has changed. It now excludes cover for non-CPAGA activities which fall outside of the control of the committee (such as gardening activities at the plots of individual plotholders).

Information about the new policy will be posted in the John Gray Centre.

The review follows a discussion at the 2017 Annual General Meeting about the risks faced by CPAGA and what cover is appropriate.
