CPAGA Annual General Meeting was held as planned on Sunday 7 November 2021. Despite the time of year, it was well attended. It is hoped that the next AGM will occur in 2022 at the start of May, as it has in prior years.
The Committee next meets on Sunday, 14 November 2021. If you were unable to attend the AGM or did attend but were not able to raise a point you wished to raise, please bring it to the attention of a member of the Committee.

A cautionary tale has reached us via Brighton and Hove Allotment Federation: their author reports that if courgette plants are hybridised or water-stressed they can sometimes contain a poison called 'Cucurbitacin E', apparently giving the courgettes a bitter taste. Other plants can be affected similarly (bitter cucumbers have been cited - see link).
